About Improv for Game Masters:
From the minds behind Roll Play, this one-day 3-hour workshop offers Game Masters of all experience levels a crash-course in how to bring the magic and creativity of improvisation to their tabletop roleplaying games. Students will learn how to generate characters, situations, and scenes from scratch, as well as how to use improvisation to boost their roleplaying and add excitement and humor to every dice roll. No prior experience necessary, in either RPGs or improv.

About the Instructor:
Michael Weingartner (he/him) is an improviser, writer, and Dungeon Master who has been improvising for ten years and running tabletop RPGs for over fifteen years. He has performed with Roll Play since 2022, and has created and directed several hit improv shows.  Prior to joining SideQuest, Michael was a producer and head writer for the news comedy TV show, Minnesota Tonight.  He also produces original TTRPG content online @yesandrpgs.
